1. Montreal is full of attractive people, men and women. And they are fit! (Although I am sure this has nothing to do with the "national" food of French fries smothered in gravy and cheese curds). As a result of this beauty, people here blatantly stare - I haven't seen this much head turning in a long time.
2. An amazingly high proportion of men in Quebec have long hair (or hairs, as they say) and the unshaven look. I found it quite striking this time around, maybe because I've just come from a country where most men shave their heads. I wonder if it has something to do with the cold winters or maybe it's a Francophone thing...
