La Belle Province

Not having anyone to cook turkey or goose for me this Thanksgiving, I opted to venture into the Canadian wilderness instead. A group of 12 of us ventured to Charlevoix, a region approximately 5 hours away from Montreal. And can you believe it - we actually had snow! My first snow in two years! You can imagine my excitement.

View from the chalet's balcony. Sadly we were a bit late for the full beauty of fall in this region.
On our hike - as you can see it was quite windy.

White miracle. I mean the snow, not me, although you can take it as you will.

The world simply looks better covered in white.
